Ethics in business and respect for copyrights

Concern with quality is in Microservice’s DNA. For 40 years, we have unflaggingly sought excellence in an ongoing process of developing and improving processes, products, and services.

This philosophy is present in all the company’s activities, from strategic planning to final customer service. The company invests in training and qualification of its employees, in the acquiring of state-of-the-art equipment, in the development of its own technology, in updating internal procedures, in the improvement of control processes and in the partnership with companies equally committed to quality.

Thanks to these efforts, Microservice has accumulated quality certifications, recognized both in Brazil and in the international market. All digital media (CDs, CD-ROMs and DVDs) produced by the company, for example, have the ISO 9002 certification.

The company also earned ISO 9001:2000 certification, after all areas were thoroughly evaluated by two entities of unquestionable competence: ABNT (Associação Brasileira de Normas Técnicas – Brazilian Association of Technical Regulations) <see the certificate>(in Potuguese) and RWTÜV <see the certificate>(in Portuguese), certification body headquartered in Germany.

The focus on quality also involves business ethics, including respect for copyrights. A proof of this is that Microservice became the first Brazilian company to receive the certificate issued by CDSA (Content Delivery & Storage Association), awarded to media manufacturers that promote proven anti-piracy actions.
